Due to multiple shoulder injuries Rowdy was retired from agility and soon began working on his UDX obedience title.  His last endeavor was as a therapy dog volunteering as a K-9 Ambassador at the Albuquerque Sunport.  His role was to help de-stress the airport.  His favorite visitors were children 3 years or under. I hate to say how many times his pictures had been taken, but he must have been all over facebook.

Rowdy normally avoided going into the water when Flat coats played fetch, running along the shore and barking instead.  It wasn’t till he was running along a dock barking as usual when he accidentally fell into the bay that we discovered he could swim. I was already kicking my shoes off to rescue him, when

he swam up to the Flat-coat and tried to steal her toy, luckily my camera was handy.  The next day he accidentally? fell in 3 times.
