Due to multiple shoulder injuries Rowdy is now retired from agility and soon will begin working on his UDX obedience title.  His latest endeavor as a therapy dog is volunteering as a K-9 Ambassador at the Albuquerque Sunport.  His role is as a comfort dog that helps de-stress the airport.  His favorite visitors are children 3 years or under. I hate to say how many times his pictures has been taken, but he must be all over facebook.

Rowdy normally avoids going into the water when Tempe plays fetch, running along the shore and barking instead.  It wasn’t till he was running along a dock barking as usual when he accidentally fell into the bay that we discovered he could swim. I was already kicking my shoes off to rescue him, when

he swam up to Tempe and tried to steal her toy, luckily my camera was handy.  The next day he accidentally? fell in 3 times.
